My DH and I were talking last night about past things we have done with the weed....His uncle told him about making Honey Drops, with buds and honey and cooking them, something like that...of course that was BACK IN THE DAY! Has anyone heard of doing that, and how???? Was thinking about making them with the hubby.
honey oil is made using high pressured butane. the THC would not dissolve into actual honey because it contains no fat or alcohol. it is composed of different natural sugars.
I'm pretty positive that it had nothing to do with Hash in any way...definitely with the buds. Dunno though, maybe he's just some old hippie talking out him bum..LOL it would be great though to make a homey sucker like that--goood thought! too bad I guess it won't work. Would probably be quite yummy! DH is trying to come up with some ideas on cooking, etc, as his lungs need a little break from the smoke. LOL!! Poor guy! I think he got some papers recently that really messed with him and he had a HARD time afterward. Don't buy these watermelon ones that are pink.... They make ya hurt!
I've never heard of it before but i'd presume he meant making canna-butter (disolving the THC from the buds into butter) and then mixing it in with honey and then dripping the mix into drops to be eaten, aka honey drops.
that would make sense---I'll have to check that out to see if it works at all. I know it wasnt the other suggestion, as there was absolutely no butane, etc mentioned in the conversation. Thanks!!!!!!!! happy friday!
