well ive been thinking really hard about it and i really want my nose pierced... but i dont know if it would look right on me, and how bad does it hurt? so if yall could help me out that would be great!
I personally believe that this is a very personal opinion. I think my nose piercing enhanced my faces... but that is personal.
If you want it done, get it done. But its entirely up to you. I had my nose pierced when I was 16 and I adore it. I couldn't imagine myself without it, but then I couldn't imagine myself without any of my piercings. I love piercings and tattoos! It doesn't really hurt. Its like most piercings; pain for about 2 seconds then it's all over.
Chris, if you're so anti-bodymod why are you in this forum? If you want it, do it. I got mine done at 16 and I love how it looks. I just wear a little stud with a clear sparkly stone and I think it's gorgeous. I wore a fake one for a while, when trying to convince my parents to let me get it done heh... just a little sparkly crystal with a sticky backing placed where I planned on getting the hole done. It didn't really hurt when I got it done. A sharp pinch, hurt when teh jewelry was getting put in but the pain lasted for less than half a minute. A little woozy afterwards is all, so don't plan on biking home super fast or anything and you should be fine
I got mine done about five years ago. Didn't hurt that much, but i got it done with a gun and the sound it makes sort of startles you a bit. I love the way mine looks, i get a few compliments about it too, and my fiance reckons it makes me look sexy.
oh god i love nose peircings, sooo exotic looking, i want mine done so i can feel like an indian princess or some shit like that.. yea im weird
I think if it stays on your mind enough, you should. You can always take it out if you dont like how it looks. Asthetically, it depends on the nose, and I think you have a good nose for a tiny stud on one side. I love my nose, and got one on the side to complement it. I like it so much that i ended up getting a matching on on the other side, and love how it looks. I've only received complements. I don't think it hurt that much, but it depends on your pain tolerance. Its somewhere in between a shot and getting blood drawn, and only for a few seconds. Most people get a slight adrenalin rush when getting pierced and feel slightly high afterwards. I love the feeling. My nose was also one of the quickest piercings i've had to heal. I ask myself this question of girls that wake up early (while i get extra sleep) to do stuff to their hair and cake on makeup. It's all a personal choice of how someone wants to look. My piercings are my makeup in a way. I like how they compliment my features. And if by "some pain" you mean a quick pinch, then yes its definitely worth it to me
I never had a peircing and then recently at the age of 34 I got my eyebrow pierced twice (I will stop at three - honest!). I highly reccomend you go ahead if the idea appeals to you - it only hurts while it's being done and it's no worse say than someone pinching you hard ;-) And unlike a tatto - it doesn't have to be forever if you change your mind! Some people are narrow-minded and superficial and will tell you not to get it done - that it will spoil your good looks. Just consider it a two-fingered salute to those sort of bigots! The most beautiful memorable and women I have met in the last few months were all peirced. Good Luck and Enjoy!! Pixie Boy
Well, alittle while ago I had actually taken one of those hollow piercing needles and poked it through my nose myself..ouch!..unfortunately after all that hard work (and research! I'm not a dumbass...) my mother got very angry and made me take it out. I love nose piercings, as long as they are not distastful...sometimes certain chicks get them and they look kind of trashy. But here, I would suggest doing some research and if you decide you want one, find a good place to get it done. I wouldn't do it myself again, honestly. And, if you ever get tired of it, you can just pull it out. I've heard that seasalt dissolved in water (SEAsalt, not table salt) is good for the piercing--be careful of it so as to not get it infected!
