Thanx GHOSTCRAB I couldnt have put it better myself!!!!!! but personally I prefer : A major branch of modern physics arguing for the emission of light (radiant energy) in discrete amounts or "quanta". It is now established as a corner-stone of modern physics, even though its philosophical problems (concerning reality and causality) remain contentious.
