I'm originally from the Bronx, one of the five boroughs that makes up New York City.

The demographics have changed way too much for me to feel comfortable living there. I have two friends from high school and one aunt and uncle who still live there.

 

Originally I am from Simmern, Germany.. Haven't lived there in 26 years though.

SoLokLok, and it's just up the road about 30 miles. and yes i could see myself living there just fine. obviously everything's chainged, twice, and then some. but it's still a cool place where it is and all.

actualy it was already named after a damd politician when i was living there. and i do mean a damd politician. schylar colfax. president grant's secretary of the treasury if i recall correctly. there are at lest five u.s. states that have a town named after that jerk and i've lived in two of them, california and washington.

well if you need urban amenities to be amused by, sorry but i'm affraid colfax will likely dissappoint all arround. on the other hand, if you like beeing within EASY walking distance of rural forested mountain wilderness, as i did and do, it's great.

the place i'm living now has waaay to many people arround for my taste. waay to many to try and pretend it isn't the city that it is. edge city but still too damd city for me.

we got a nice little bus system though. between roseville, placer county, and nevada county, and auburn, all having little bussess that don't cost too much to ride. i can even get up there to colfax once in a while that way.
