I was just wondering if any of you could tell when it`s happening. How do you really know? I think it happens quite a lot to me. I feel like I am out of my body then sometimes it`s hard to get back and it`s kind of scary. My mind is awake but I can`t quite wake up my body. How can I control astral projection? Is it just dreams or are you really out of your body? Does anyone understand this? How do you get back to your body safely without shock or not being able to move or scream or anything.
you need to gain a certain sense of conciousness. the rest just follows into play. it's all to do with the regulation of neuro-transmitters, and an efficient level of conciousness is needed for that.
It happens every single time you dream. You don't. That's why it's a dream. Your subconscious will protect your body - it has to keep breathing, after all. Therefore trust in your body, trust in yourself to do the right thing. Because your mind is awake your body is not really getting rest. Because it is tired it does not want to wake up. The obvious answer is to get more sleep. (I try to get 8 - 9.5 hours of sleep a nigh.) Why would you want to? So that you could go partying somewhere, have sex with some starlet, visit a faraway land? You will have to decide for yourself, anything anyone else says means absolutely nothing. ??? I don't understand the question. What will anyone's answer mean to you when you are asleep and you can't remember the answer? The answer must come from within your own dream state. First know that your body usually wakes up at a certain time because of a clock that goes off on your night stand. Therefore add at least 1 hour to your sleep schedule. You may find that you need to go to the bathroom 1/2 hour before waking up. Therefore make sure that you add 1.5 hours to the time when NOT to drink water. So if you drink at 9PM and go to sleep at 10PM and wake up at 6AM, if you have your last drink at 7:30 PM, and you go to the bathroom at 9:59PM, you may find that you will go to the bathroom at 4AM - which is okay because that gives you enough time to go back to sleep. Before going to sleep stretch in bed. Before getting out of bed, stretch fully your body. Do this each and every time you get into and out of bed. If you didn't stretch this morning then know that you didn't get enough sleep. Add an hour tonight.
it sounds like what your expiriencing is sleep paralysis....you'll know you've astral projected because before projection your energy body expiriences intence pulsating. its a bizarre sensation but it cannot be mistaken. just relax through the pulsating vibrations and let go.
the possibilities are unlimited in teh astral. its a powerful springboard towards acention if thats your trip. why would you want to??? ....akashic hall of records for one.
Yeh I have experienced both sleep paralysis and astral projection. Both are so weird to me. With astral I feel a buzzing vibration through my body but I think I mostly feel it around my head. I read a lot about it over the years and there are actually things you can do to control it and be able to do it whenever you want but I have tried so many times and I can never purposely do it. I just wanted to know if anyone was able to do it anytime they tried. I think there are plenty of good reasons to want to control astral projection. For one I think it would be an amazing experience. What about exploring your self and your mind? Why NOT control it?
....maybe because it's not a common factor amongst modern life and not much is known about it. perhaps if more research which returned positive results went into it and it was more talked about amongst the public and more people started to think about it then i guess people would start naturally exploring themselves and their minds and possibly start controlling it.... ...however, it's not a very solid subject and so the "controlling it" could easily be read as "messing around with what should not be messed with" by much of the public.
I think I was astral projecting last night. It hasn't happened in a while, and I am surprised it did last night as it only usually happens when I abstain for a while, and I've been wanking loads recently.. i think it is because I have been quite stressed lately and behind on sleep. Couldn't sleep last night, but eventually I drifted away lying on my backs with my hands on my stomach. Again I felt an enormous glowing sensation in the palms of my hands, at first i dreamt I was awake in the room i was sleeping in, but I was actually dreaming, then I dreamt that I fell asleep and then the dream started to become lucid. I knew what was going on and tried to influence the dream. I flew through the door of the room I was sleeping into the kitchen, and then through the back door and outside and I flew up and round the back of the house. Not really sure what happened after that, I think I woke up, or sometime thereafter.. Now whether or not I was actually having an out of body experience here is open to question, but certainly this is what I experienced in the dream, a glowing sensation in the palms of my hands and the ability to fly and move through solid objects.
