My alcoholic grandpa that never talks to me and I hardly even saw growing up just found out that I graduated. My grandma claims that he's old and scared of going to hell so now he tries to buy our love. Whatever...he sent me some money (he's loaded) as a graduation gift so now I have money for gas and finally got my banana split. Yeah for guilt-ridden grandparents!! God is good cause I sure had no idea how we were gonna make it.
It may not be guilt - might be that he finally realised that time is ticking away and theres still time to do the things he knows he should've done. Some of the nicest people in the world are alcoholics - but hide behind it,and dislike themselves for it.Glad it worked out for you, though - maybe he'd enjoy a visit.
who knows....according to my grandma, we're all going to hell. Except her, of course although, considering she hasn't had sex in 22 years, her chances are better than mine
things come when they are truly needed Miss F..... take it with a smile n dont feel like you need to do anything other than you normally would n a thanks,,,,,
he's in Iraq now. won't be back until August. Truth is, I don't how good or bad the guy is, only what my grandma tells me and she's plum crazy
Well that's really good to hear. I'm glad something finally came through for you. Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.
I know but sometimes I panic and forget. Thanks for your reply in my "give up" thread. I was too down to respond at the time but it helped. Now things are looking better, I've got a couple of nibbles and a big job fair that a company invited me to next month. So I'm hanging in
Some people don't know how to give love so give money instead. and no sex for your grandma for 22 years? sounds like she already is in hell...
