I am starting a "Craft Swap Box"

Okay..Okay... So I know there are a few circulating already....But who knows how that going?

So here's the deal!! It will be a crafty swap box. You may include anything you think the next person will be able to use! Anything from: beads, fabrics, jewelry making stuff, hemp twine, yarn, etc. If you feel like throwing already made goodies(new), feel free!

To make it fair I am only going to allow the first 20-25 people who want in. Too many will only make it last too much longer. Just a few rules. once you recieve the swap box, it needs to leave your hands...to the next anxiously awaiting person...within 5-7 days...Please it is only fair to keep this box a moving! Also, remember to take what you want, and set the next person(s) up so they will have fun with it too!

So if interested, please PM me.... With your name, address, and things you like to do crafty! In the swap box's list of participants, I will list in order the names, and what they like to do. So if for example ** It says "Suzy" likes to make jewery...by all means, I bet she'd love beads***

So like I said the first 20-25 people are in!!! If you are in Canada...that is cool too. I will try to put the Canadian peoples names all together, so you can keep the box up there for awhile, avoiding long mailing delays and such!!!

I've signed up for so many swap boxes but have only received 2... they don't seem to circulate. I've also started similar swap boxes to yours, Critter, with the whole '1 week' rule of keeping the box... well, my list of only 10 people seem to still be circulating it after a year and a half... good luck with it though.

 

Hopefully only SERIOUS inquries will reply.........

 

I am in the USA, am I eligible? Are you still taking names? I am VERY serious about this and would have a blast with it. I would get my box out real soon after receiving it as I KNOW what it is like to wait for something!

I'd love to be in it, but I'm a little concerned about shipping costs. I have always wanted to be a part of one of these so bad!

 

after facilitating a box a couple years ago, i believe i've got a good solution to the never returning box situation. ten people in a swap is too much. split the groups into 5, and send out 2 or 3 boxes. people still get a taste of the swap, plus your chances of receiving em back triple. i did that and i ended up getting one back.
i'll sign up for your swap.
also, it's cool to include some kinda book so we can all say hey.

 

Yeah what is the average cost of shipping? I know it depends, but just a rough estimate?

well, seeing as how this last post before yours was JULY OF LAST YEAR... I think the boat may have sailed on this one.

 

Dang, I guess I missed it too. Maybe someone wants to start another one? I've always wanted to be part of a swap box. I've never done it just because I've been concerned about the shipping costs.

 

Sorry there wasn't enough sign ups at the time, and truthfully forgot about it since it was July of last year.
