I hate it!!! Not only does it suck, but, honestly I feel like I'm not myself anymore. I listen to the dead and stuff that say stuff like, head out for the road and I dunno....man, I feel like by this stupid job I will be doing 9-5's all my life. It stinks......I just want to be myself, and I feel so closed in and suffocated by this job.
You have to look at your job in a different way, as a tool to reach your goals, whatever they may be. I don't wanna take a job to make money, or to live with more luxury...If i'm working, I already have a goal set for what I'm going to do with the money I make.... For example, I'm now working behind the bar for about 200 hours a month, It's fucked I know, but I also know that I just have to hang in there for a couple of months, with the money I make I'm going to Australia for a couple of months. Hang in there with your job, and remember what you're doing it for Peace and Love Slick
That's why I work outside and do landscaping... My own hours, no real boss, plus I make more money than these burger dicks.
Aww hey chill out. I work in my mother's salon, and it's just means to an end. I do the menial stuff, take home the money, then get on with my life. There is no way I'm going to do that for the rest of my life. But there isn't anything better right now (until I've a degree anyway) It seems like hell because all first jobs suck. When you've finished school then you can get a decent job you love, till then keep working (in both senses). By all means look round for something more bearable, but don't get your hopes up to much. Ah the joys of adolencence
i agree with slick, you should think of your goals! im only working so that next summer i can go down to ohio for the PEACE FEST 2005! (everyone should go)
i dont want a job, but i have to get one. i need munny for next summer, so im looking forawrd to a cool job
yeah...I guess...hah.. yeah, good luck finding a "COOL" job....I'd really love to work in like a record store, that would be fun... my boss is a complete ass. Hey, just thought I'd let ya know
