    Lets share...

I stupidly decided to walk 4 miles home late one night, drunk, in the pouring rain with no coat. This would have mostly been a deserted, dark road.

A man stopped his taxi-cab, got out and put me in, sending me home only after checking that i had the cash to pay the driver.

i had some occasions liek that.. liek once, i fell down and really scraped my knees, and out of no where this nurse comes and (painfully) disinfects it and puts a bandage over it.

I was jumped and left half-unconcious in the street once... Someone dropped me off in my yard. I remember someone looking in my wallet (Which was next to me) and putting me in the back seat of a car and dropping me off. I didn't have a key and no one was home so they just set me against the wall... I appreciated that. I try to help those in need when possible cause of it.

One time, when I was about 9 or 10, I was in the bookstore with my mother. I wanted to get this book that teaches how to draw cartoon characters, but it was $20.00 and I didn't have any money. I asked my mom if I could get the book, but she said no because it was too much money. Then, suddenly, an old man stuck out a 20 dollar bill, told my mom to take it, and walked away. My mother and I were stunned. We stood there, silent, for a second, and then my mother tried to find the man and give him back the $20.00, but he was gone. She couldn't find him anywhere. So, my mother bought me the book, I still have it, and I have never forgotten that man and his random generosity.

Four months ago, I was in Miyajima, an island near Hiroshima, and I was walking toward the island's aquarium. I was about 15-20 minutes away from the aquarium when a car (out of nowhere, seemingly) appeared, and the driver offered me a ride. I accepted it (This is Japan, I must remind you), and the dude took me to the aquarium. Pretty awesome!

I have stopped often to help out people with flat tires or to help someone to push their car out of the way of traffic when their car has stalled...........

One time, a friend of mine and I were driving along and we both witnessed a guy punching this girl right in the face. Well, we were really pissed because no guy should EVER punch or hit a girl! So, I pulled over to help her out and to give this ass a "piece of his own medicine." We asked if the girl was ok and she was scared. So, we proceded to "confront" the guy/ass with the situation going on and all of the sudden, the girl did a 360 degree on us and started to tell us to stop bothering him and to let him be. While she was trying to bite my friend on his arm. It was a very wierd situation...........

i was on my bike trip across the US and we were biking into Niagara Falls (Canadian side) that day. Well, my sleeping pad fell off my bike about 20 miles out of Niagara Falls. I didn't notice that it had fell off, so i just kept on biking. then all of a sudden this guy in a old ford truck, probably from the 1950's but has been redone, honks his horn next to me. i was listening to my cd player at the time and he kept honking to get my attention, so i finally heard him and at first i thought he was some crazy guy. then he held out my sleeping pad and i was like wtf and looked down to where i had it straped to my bike and it wasn't there. so i moved closer to his car, on my bike going 20 mph and reached into his car to get the sleeping pad, while were both going down the road trying not to swerve. it was funny.

i was so thankful of that guy, he was awesome.

i've had some truly amazing incidents. one time i desperately needed groceries, but the store wouldn't take my check. i was flipping, because i had a baby freaking out, and this old lady behind me flipped out her credit card and bought me $150 worth of groceries. she wouldn't let me giver her my check or even know her name.

i think human beings are biologically wired to enjoy doing nice things for other people. the more you do, the better you feel about yourself. try it, it's really neat.

    I don't think he was being sarcastic.......maybe
But that is really how I felt too after reading these.
I always try to help someone if I see them in trouble. Especially if they are by themselves, because it helps if your not on your own to deal with some stuff. I always pick up hitchhikers if I have someone else in the car with me, or it's nasty weather.
I figure that if I help someone out, then the next time THEY see someone in trouble, they will help them out, and eventually, when I need help, someone will turn a kind heart towards me and give me a hand up. :D
