Anybody else here going to the Non-Permitted Rainbow Inspired Event in MO? Directions: North of Camdenton Missouri on 5 Hwy then 10 miles west on 7 hwy. Second left past Barnumtom Mo. - Look for sign to "Fiery Forks" - 2 miles down Gravel Road 7-17. This beautiful 1,606 acre area includes stretches of Little Niangua River, Fiery Forks Creek and Toby Creek, lots of room for kind camping and family fun. This is an open family event and we encourage you to spread the word in every direction via all kind means. "Welcome Home!" *Site is located between I-70 & I-44 so stop in and visit if your traveling! -- This area is reasonably flat with lots of sweet shade, loving meadows and has a large clear spring with easy walking access to the creeks and rivers. Site is very large and people friendly with some shallow wading pools, recreational waters, trees to play under, hiking trails and lots of downed oak and hickory for camp fires. We encourage you to bring water containers & filters, tarps, cooking equipment, C.A.L.M supplies, and tools to help make this a truly wonderful experience for the family to enjoy. It was last weekend. I was going to go, but it cost like 40 bucks for the weekend and I'mon a budget.
The $40 thing was the Peace Conspiracy Music Festival whatever the heck they called it. Went 1st weekend. July 4th MO Rainbow Inspired Event started as a "We don't need No Stinkin' Permit" protest gathering, and darned well BETTER not be charging any $40, or they'll have lots of folks yelling at them about how they advertise themselves as a more Politicaly Correct alternitive to "The Gathering Of The Tribes of the Rainbow Family of Living Light" which the organizers of the MO "Gathering" call a "Forest Service Managed Event"
