This one is pretty damn excellent, imo virtualtourist.com Tons of info, pics, tips, advice, etc. You can even start your own web page there. (hope I'm allowed to post that link above, but it is a good site for travellers)
Yes, it's probably one of the better sites for general travelling wherever you happen to be going. I like the fact that anyone can start their own web page and give feedback of where they have been, etc. I really do think it's a top site with just about everything you need in one place and all the best links, in fact It's a bloody excellent site. I'm hoping to visit Thailand sometime in the distant future and have got all my info about the place from Virtualtourist. Well worth bookmarking this site for all world travellers, imo.
