Hello! I will hopefully be going to Germany in April over their Easter Break, to visit a friend in Franfurt. Anyone ever been? Any tips or advice?
    Thanks!

Unfortunately, I can't give you any advice about Germany: my only experience there consists of spending 45 at the Frankfurt airport while in transit. But enjoy Germany :)

Frankfurt is a very nice city... has a little touch of New York, it lies at the river "Main" and is also called "Mainhattan" due to its skyscrapers ;) I live 50 kilometers east of it, so if you have any questions -> contact me! PM, ICQ or whatelse you prefer :)

btw: Don't forget to drink "Ebbelwoi" (Frankfurt accent for "Apfelwein" = apple vine) it's very delicious and there aren't many places in the world where you can find it ... :)

I have a pen pal in Frankfurt and during one of my visits we went to the "Palmengarten" ... believe it or not, I fell into a fountain. So if you want to try that too... :p

Don't ask for ice, they'll bring you ice cream (unless you want ice cream)
