A thought provoking e-mail circulated through Internet news groups in June, and was sent to the Muckraker Report by Paul V. Sheridan (Winner of the 2005 Civil Justice Foundation Award), bringing attention to the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist web page for Osama bin Laden.

In the e-mail, the question is asked, “Why doesn't Osama bin Laden's Most Wanted poster make any direct connection with the events of Sept. 11, 2001?” The FBI says on its bin Laden Web page, http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm, that Osama bin Laden is wanted in connection with the Aug. 7, 1998 bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. According to the FBI, these attacks killed over 200 people. The FBI concludes its reason for “wanting” bin Laden by saying, “In addition, bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorists attacks throughout the world.” The Muckraker Report contacted the FBI headquarters on June 6 to learn why their bin Laden's Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Osama was also wanted in connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, chief of investigative publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on the Bin Laden's Most Wanted Web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Osama Bin Laden's Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.”

So, why did we go into Afghanistan if Bin Laden hasn't been confirmed being involved in the 9/11 attacks? Why does the mainstream media as well as the Bush administration continue to say Bin Laden is the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks? It's quite obvious that one should not take anything seen or heard from the mainstream media or this administration as truth.

Love, peace and joy to all!

Because of some agenda Bush and the administration have. I don't think we know the entire agenda yet. It'll come out at some point.

Maybe not. After more than forty years, we still don't know anything definitive about the JFK assassination.

Something that tickles me (in a dark, cynical way) is a comment you hear all the time, "If there was a conspiracy, there would've been leaks." It makes me want to yell, "THERE ARE LEAKS, ALL THE TIME, JACKASS!" Pick your favorite conspiracy theory--9/11, JFK, Pearl Harbor, UFO's, whatever--and you can find instances of credible people leaking information all over the place. The leaks are simply managed. They're "spun."

The tactics are basically the same, regardless of the leak: denial, ridicule, and disinformation. First, never officially admit the accuracy of a leak. Second, ridicule both the message and the messenger ("Have you ordered your tinfoil hat yet? Oh, ho-ho-ho-ho!") Third, spread disinformation, including bizarre lies that make those seeking the truth look like idiots ("The craft that hit the Pentagon was full of space-aileens!") Done correctly, such a campaign can blow the signal-to-noise ratio all to hell and insure that not even meticulous historians will ever be able to put all the pieces together.

Our information is served cafeteria style. Pick whatever you want. Run with whatever resonates, you're still never going to prove anything.

At this point, the only thing that could break open the truth about 9/11 would be a massive attack of conscience on the part of multiple, highly credible, very high-ranking public officials. And I'm not even sure that could do it.

Hell, they're even re-writing the history of the McCarthy Era. Something of which we were ashamed, something we've understood was evil throughout my entire life, is now being spun by NeoCons and Globalists as a good thing.

What is history? It's whatever the "experts" say it is.

And he also said he WASN'T behind them in an interview published less than a month after the attacks, which got literally no press in the US. (Gee, I wonder why?) You can read the interview here. The only tape where "bin Laden" confeses was so obviously forged it's not even funny.

Osama bin Laden had about as much to do with 9/11 as the trees in my backyard.
