Abryn likes to hold my hand while she nurses. I love it! while she nurses she'll flail her little hand around and around, almost like in a big circle, until I hold it and then she settles down. she's so awesome. I wish I had more pictures, I'd show everybody...
I love little things like that! My son used to go "ah ah ah" untl he found the boob, then once he found it his little hands would grasp each other in front. He looked so content and peaceful. I love when they get to the age that they start making eye contact with you and smiling while nursing, it's the sweetest thing.
my little girl started smiling a few weeks ago and then a few times this week she actually gave a contented little laugh! it was so beautiful it made me cry. I can't believe I made such a beautiful little thing...
that's so sweet Since Leane ended up not nursing, she isn't all that familiar with my boobs, and the other night it was so hot here, i had to sleep semi-nude...when we woke up in the morning, she was looking at my boobs all confused and grabbing them and twisting them...then she would push on them, turn around and push on daddy's chest...couldn't figure out why i was all 'mushy' and daddy was hard, lol
Dakota wasn't breastfed since he was adopted. But he has a major fascination with boobs. Sometimes he will knead them like a cat does going, "Boobie, boobie, boobie." If he's tired of upset his hands always go down the front of my shirt so he can rub the boobs. He also loves Dada's nipples. It's a big game in the morning to "Get Dada nipples." Kathi
LOL, Leane has started to do that recently with Cody's nipples! She'll sit there on his lap and push them in like buttons! Or she'll "tweak" them! It's too funny, especially since Cody is ticklish and leane gets upset if he "takes them away!"
I still nurse Moire, even if there is no milk there. Haha. And when she wants the boob or knows it's coming, she'll start frantically turning her head from side to side with her mouth wide open, making "ahh, ahh" sounds. And when she latches, she'll caress my boob while dosing. That's sort of why she nurses, her before-sleep pacifier.
I'd like to see more pictures of my baby, too! lol. I have them on my digital, some GOOD ones, too of her making funny eyebrows at me and fish face and stuff like that. but I don't have any means of getting them printed or put into the computer! hopefully soon my mom will get me a camera or take me to the store to get one. it sucks not having a license until December. but as soon as I get some I'll show EVERYBODY! lol
Aiden uses all of his power to squish my boob into his face then when he wants the other boob he punches it as hard as he can.
lol, that would be convenient for some of those mom's who aren't sure when they should switch, eh? I was like that; I could never figure it out, but then again, the whole thing in general confused me....:&
Awwww... y'all are giving me the biggest case of baby-envy! Both of my kiddies would hang onto the middle of my bra while nursing... like a security blanket. At night I would go without, and they would wedge their little fist in between my two breasts instead. When upset or overtired they would both reach down the front of my shirt to grab for the bra... I got so many funny looks when this would happen in public, but I was quite incapable of doing much to stop it. They knew what was down there, and they wanted it! love, mom
yeah that is my aiden in my sig. another thing aiden loves to do is blow rasberries to let me know when he is done nursing. Or his favorite thing i do is i lift up my boob and slap his face he laughs o hards its too cute
My kids all did this, too. Even after they were weaned. It didn't even faze me, and didn't appear weird, until I'd be in Target, with a 4 year old with his/her hand down my shirt, getting the occasional odd look. Moon didn't like it if I read while she nursed, when she was a baby. She would hit the book, (I would move it to the other side) then she would kick the book (I would move it again) THEN she would BITE me. "HEY, MA, look at me!" I guess I wasn't a quick learner. LOL. But, with two little ones, WHEN do you read?
