two lane blacktop

    is "two lane blacktop" (from the '70s, w/ james taylor) any good?

    Two Lane is a nice look at the period in question. I enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. Don't look for tons of action or snappy dialogue as there is hardly any.

    It just shows you a slice of time.
    Two of the three 55 Chevys used in the film were later used in American Graffiti and one still exists, the other was rolled over in American Graffiti.

    Just looking at the road, buildings, and cars of the era makes watching this movie worth the time as the cast and crew actually drove Rt. 66 from Calf. to Tenn during the filming.

    Not as much action as Vanishing Point, but it really brings back memories of the time.
