I was thinking about getting a debit card but then i started thinking about how easy it would be for banks and by extension goverment tracking where a shop so i decided to stick to cash where i can. anyone else do this? *a note on paper money, it's not realy paper it's classfied as a type of cloth
Steer clear of credit card, man. It makes you live as if you had more money, but it's virtual and will have to be reimbursed sooner or later. Don't do it.
one of the ladies i work with pounds that into my head everyday. She was in college and a company gave her a credit card with a sky high spending limit.
>.< das baad how many people can live without a credit card? i am not materalistic at all so i dont think i will ever need one
Well, it depends on the person. I have had a debit card for over 3 years and I have not had ANY issues at all with credit. I hardly ever use it as credit...that's the key. And if I do, it's like on $20. Nothing huge. Self control and realizing that it is not free money here and now, helps a bunch.
I have 6 credit cards, I only use the two that give me 1% back towards something, I only put my gas, groceries, tuition and winemaking supplies on it, ive gotten $125 in RRSP's so far and $20 off at canadian tire. As long as you have the cash to pay it back in 21 days I dont see a problem. If the government wants to see where I shop or go to school or get gas, all power to them. I only buy things if i have the cash so why not get 1% back by using a credit card? I understand they can be addicting but I guess I have a good money mentality.
