I myself really want dreadlocks, but first I want to see how they actually look on me. Also what they exacly would say at work, and if my friends will laugh at me or not.

So I myself am wondering if its possible to set up Temporally dreadlocks (With the help off stuff that is just lying around at home)? And how to do it.

I have been searching for guides, but could not find anything, and if I did, then I woulnt understand anything, or I am forced to buy there products. While I myself dont have to much money.

I would like to set them up tommorow actually, since then will be my last day of school, and we will get our report cards.

    Thanks in advance :)

probably just gel and twist groups of hair together would make some good faux-dreads

    Thank you for your reply!

Well, I myself have wax. and hairspay. Dunno if that would help. And how long should my hair be to make dreads? Will I use much length? =/

your hair should be at least 3 inchs long (from everything i've read). the thinness of your hair will determine how much it shrinks.

in high school, i used to do that thing with twisting it and gelling it to death. that took a LOT of gel to make it stay.
i'd say just loosely backcomb it. it isnt hard to take out after 1 day.

but really, you shouldnt care what your friends are going to say.
and you'd be surprised at the kind of people who give you compliments.

Just loosely backcomb and use hairspray (strong and sticky one = cheap = best). Did it once on a friend, worked perfect.
