Probably celebrating getting rid of the ungrateful colonies.

 

Maybe grateful they are not speaking German right now and that we came to thier aid not only with supplies but sent our men out front to be killed to cover thier ass. They can also thank the Scottish and Irish all of whom the British shunned. That or like any good person they too look for good reasons to party!

I think in all fairness we should celebrate many different holidays from different beliefs and countries. Why you may ask, hell a reason to party is always a good thing. If we spend more time getting together having fun, less chance of fighting.

Yeah I have noticed that. I also notice that we like food. (At least here in the US) If we celebrated everything with sex than we'd have the bigger population rather than the bigger pair of jeans. (Never quote me on this one.)
