I've never worked regular shifts though... always random, p/t jobs (currently trying to balance 3 of the ruddy things)

 

yeeeah I got quite a soft spot for keyholder cleaning jobs for a bit - well - about 10 years (!) - I liked being able to choose the hours,and be up before the rat race.I'm a night owl,now which suits me fine,but sends your body clock a bit doolally,makes you feel a bit sparkly towards dawn

Started drinking less regularly mainly cos I'm working on something that gets me excited more than a beer.But then its nice to review something your'e working on with a beer afterwards,so - no - I have an intense need for stimulation all the time,which is why the pub is such an attraction - I love chatting to people all day - they are busy here all day,cos of the tourism.

I fink it can be worrying though when you know you are very gradually increasing your intake of something though on a regular basis - it sidles up on you.Seems like thats when you have to try n listen to your conscience a lil bit.I kind of overlap quite a bit and keep saying 'aar fk it' for quite a while before I suddenly remember 'wow - i haven't done THAT for while or been THERE before' and have to go and do it which can be a good diversion from what becomes a regular thing, er..i fink.is good to have a change of scene

 

Seems like I'm always turning over a new leaf. I'm always changing, it never stops.

I have a couple poison's that I wish I could forget about. For me it's about control. If I'm not in control then whatever it is I'm doing has to go.

Sometimes when we try so hard to change it just becomes a frustrating hell hole. If you can take each situation as it comes and put thought into it before you make a decision maybe things will start to turn around.

I had to keep telling myself and still do that change doesn't happen overnight.

No (as in NONE) incidences:
fatalities/ injuries/ damaged equipment/ loss production that wasn't anticipated

Some close calls but shit happens.
ie: Space Shuttle

I have thoroughly enjoyed being paid for a hobby.
Everyone else should be so Lucky...

I did that for years till it reached a point that the hobby was so badly hated I stopped. There was some time I would not look at a computer and even now I have no real desire to do anything but type some messages, a complete waste for a computer.
