The fact is that these are KFC's suppliers. Sheesh. And KFC is well aware of how the Chickens are treated.

 

The only reason they're changing their suppliers is because they're currently facing a lawsuit on animal cruelty... I wonder why...

Well, at least I don't have to worry about it... I don't do drugs... But I'll still always be an animal rights supporter because it's not all about me... it's about them too.

 

Most people care about others.. but you can't save everything and everyone, so we specify.. some try to help animals, others warn for the risks of drugs, others make big bucks and donate to foundations that do good stuff..


Please don't go fight here over if we should be nice to humans or animals or plants or whatever.. just be nice and do what you think is best.. like everyone here probably does.

Just stick together and support eachothers efforts to make this world a little bit more nice.. we're all trying and we're all hurt somehow probably.

Thanks...... I think I made my point. People feel strong in other things while others could care less.
You will never change the minds of others. Vegens will not eat meat because of animal rights. I will not take drugs because it takes lives. We all have a cause. Mine just hit too close to home.

Saying that chickens (or other animals besides humans) don't matter because they aren't as intelligent is about the most moronic argument. There are many humans that are not as intelligent as some animals and aren't as intelligent as other humans, so does that mean that we should be able to do whatever the hell we want to them? I guess that would mean we could treat some mentally disabled people however the hell we want to.

It is definitely an organisms ability to suffer that should count. Not intelligence or anything else.

Although, I think that it is more horrible to kill a human than an animal and for this reason: Humans have a future and dreams and are aware of that and so you will be taking that away from them when you kill them. They also have more complex relationships. And it is doubtful that animals have this same capacity for knowing about having a future and for building such complex relationships. But I still don't support the killing of animals.

 

i dont check ingredients and things for traces of animal products, but i dont eat a lump of meat. i think its ok because of th circle of life and stuff, animals eat other animals and the life cycle of energy goes on etc... we are lucky to be near the top of the food chain. however i do not like the way some animals are treated before they are killed, and the conditions they are kept in is inhumane! im also and old softy and have trouble swatting flies. i dont believe you can be an absolute vegetarian and squash insects though- the two just dont go together! thanks for reading my pointless little rant there. jen x
