i've always thought the phrase "face your fears" was something that only helped in action movies. but over the past few days I've proven that dead wrong. I've been pushing myself into to social situations that i've avoided my entire life and i am stressed, let me tell you. but more importantly i'm getting out there and doing things and enhancing relationships. instead of not calling a girl back for a second time becuase the first time she said she was busy, I CALLED HER ASSS UP! and you know what? she didn't answer, but that's beside the point. I was afriad of her giving her the impression that I was going to be a pest. but i just brushed all that caring about what she thought aside and dailed her up. this is a lame example of how this practice of going out of your comfort zone can help you. but i'd like to hear your thoughts of this way of overcoming anxeity.

You're right, it is good. Any step in the right direction is a step nonetheless. Good for you! :)

Anxiety and Depression is the downfall of my life. Once you are overcome by it you will never ever fully recover. Or at least thats how I see it.

Yes, to accept the bad sides of life is one good step.
