I think skip disabled sigs because people were putting their myspace addresses in the sigs, and I guess he didn't like that.

Blehh I dont know I'm having a hard time distingusing (Spelling, uh, no!) who is who because I always determined who a person was by their siggy... so Skip sucks for banning signatures. Now this place has NO personality, and it makes me sad.

 

spam in the sigs didn't bother me at all, i hardly even noticed it. but im with peacelovebarefeet, it makes it feel like there's absolutely no personality now...good things it's only for a week, otherwise that would suck...

 

Anyone who disagree's with Skip's decision is certainly free to start they own website and allow people to post all kinds of spam in their posts.

There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone's decision and thats precisely what kids in this thread are doing. Personally I think it is a stupid move. One of the things that was cool about this site is that you could give your user name some personality. It allowed people to express a little bit of themselves to other people on the site and the sigs are eye candy in some instances, not to mention the "spam" or myspace links really never caught my attention. I dont really see how banning sigs because of "spam" really helps the site all that much... but I guess I should start my own site and not share an opinion.

 

I totally understand that, I'm just saying I disagree with Skip's actions. Don't get so hostile, its only the internet!
