Dare I say I am leaning towards Silvines idea at prersent. Repotting into larger pots with new soil removing the need for any additives whatsoever. After the seeds or cuttings have taken put them in a medium pot for veg then a week before flower repot into final container which then takes them through bloom. Hey Presto no nutes needed.

I used Bio Bizz dirt at £18 a bag. Would not recommend it. Do not take my advice, listen to nature. Get this; I had the bio bizz dirt outdoors since a few years back. Other organic dirt I bought is crawling with insects - they just love it - but as for the bio-bizz - nothing touches it. Not a single bug. That just does not seem natural to me. Also, the soil structure is terrible. Its like top soil mixed with perlite and nothing else added.

Buffoonman, you're an ass sometimes which really pisses me off that I have to listen to the propoganda on site. If some one asks where to buy seeds - say 'google buy cannabis seed <insert your country here>' Such as buy cannabis seed uk

    Stop spamming Gyp-me's bank.

Also, keep your growing advice to your self until you know some thing about growing. I used to be just like you thinking I knew everything after my first year growing. Its a learning process for sure and perhaps you are right about transplanting up to a bigger pot because the roots hate cramped spaces.

Another tip - reuse your dirt. Or buy dirt with no nutrients in it (which is hard to find). See, after you get all the nasties out of the dirt from your first season growing and harvesting - you can start to mix a little organic matter in there like chicken shit, worm castings, and bat guano. I would not use any thing from a bottle because the shit is already broken down.

The best way is mix it in and let it break down naturally at the rate of the plants up take.

The trick is to always keep the dirt wet so the mirco organisms keep alive. Never let the soil dry completely out. Well, if your pot is drying out completely to light weight in a few days you prolly in too small a pot. Outdoors, I dont really water, its a very rare occasion that I water since the dirt stays 'humid' within the relative atmosphere. The only real time to water is when the pot is too small for the plant. Obviously during the summer months of June and July I may water on occasion - perhaps once over 2-3 weeks. Another tip is when you see roots coming out the holes in the bottom of the pot, wait a week or two then transplant up. This is when the roots start spiralling around looking for new sites to hit. Thats a bad thing.

No offense tho Buffoon man - I just tell the truth the way I see it.

Also, may be you could help me with my buddy - I have a thread for him over in Strains and Hybridization.
