yea he can be funny, i hate when he does interviews though I'll never forget watching the presidential press corps dinner when COlbert spoke in front of the Bushes, that should go down in world history..i think its the only time the president has actually FELT criticism, he got roasted so hard and had to sit there and take it....that was legendary... I cringed for GEORGE BUSH, me!
I loved the speech he did at the Press Corps Dinner...it cracked me up. That was so daring. Much applause to him. I've only gotten lucky enough to see his show once, because we don't get Comedy Central (damn damn damn damn!) and I never get to visit my friend with satellite. Bah. What a hard life I live. Haha.
it's so satyrical, it's amazing and i heard some where that hes actually from canada, i'd love to know if that was true cause it would make it soooo much better
damn according to comedy central he is american..it would have been alot funnier if he was canadian..
I agree, Stephen Colbert is a genuis. He and Stewart host among the best social/political commentary I've ever heard. "Using records like tree rings, glaciers, and ice cores to study the history of climate on earth, Scientists have discovered the earth is it's hottest in 2000 years." "All you need to know... WE beat the record! Woo!"
Stephen Colbert is awesome, however I think the Colbert Report as nothing more than an extension of the Daily Show, and Colbert will never be as great as John Stewart. Also, I'd still rather have Christopher Walken as president...... I'm still pissed about that hoax.
Jon Stewart is more direct with his commentary, while everything on the Colbert Report is drenched in the satire of his talk news persona. I may like the Colbert Report better, although the Daily Show usually gets better guests.
The Daily Show not only gets better guests, but at the same time it makes better use of interview time. Like I said, I watch The Daily Show for news. I watch the Colbert Report for nonsensical ramblings.
