ok, so is it just me or does everything in "life" which we dont kno exactly much about comes HARD and ANNOYING, u might b confused but lemme break it down. for example, ur freind calls u up asks u if u wanna go to the pool, u feel like stayin home to watch a movie but u decide to go to the pool anyways, while ur at the pool u kind of feel like u should of stayed home to watch the movie, and if u stayed home, u would wanna go to the pool, what im tryin to say is why is it so hard for me and other people to just lay back and feel good and perfectly calm and fine about there decisions?! also is it just me ir is there a BAD thing on Every single GOOD thing that happens. thats how i feel, for example i go to work (busboy) make a lottta tips have fun dont work hard, a day later work the worst shift most hours foughf day and make half as much, and its like this MOST of the time, and i understand there it cant alwayz come easy, but why does it alwayz have to come hard?! why does someone need to experiance sadness in order to later feel happiness?! why does someone need to experiance hunger in order to enjoy and not take for granted food?! well this is just about 3% of my concern. but thats it for now. please just keep the comments comin. thanks.
why are people so hooked on lables. some people could build a full impression on you not knowing much about you, and when they find out ur jewish/christian/muslim/etc or black/white/hispanic/etc there whole state of mind flips, its like ur nice ur fun i like u but wait ur "X" so u MUST BE UP TO SOMETHING and if ur "Y" than ur automaticly terrible or if ur "D" then ur criminal. fuck that!
I like those two posts...I've questioned both of those things many times..unfortunately on the first one, there's not much you can do..that's just a way life seems to go, but i knwo exactly what you mean..Maybe we're expected to not think about the bad since we do have the good to go afterwards...and why people are so hooked on labels and stereotypes I can't even begin to understand. I mean, I use probably more than my fair share of stereotypes, but never meaning them truthfully, just joking around with my friends, but to actually mean them is something else entirely...I'll never be able to understand how we can be sucha biggoted nation and it drives me up the wall..damnit, now I got myself worked up and I should be going to bed..anyways, just thought i'd let you know you're not alone in your thoughts!
My answer may be a platitude and a cliche, or it may be just the simple truth. I'm not 100% sure, but anyhow: Perhaps it's just a matter of balance and perspective... To have to choose between swimming in a pool and a movie, could be seen as a win-win situation.
plus, lets say umm u see the world as it is like everynormal person, how do u KNO that what u see is REALLY TRUTHFULLY there?! haha im crazy i guess but dont u feel at times that not all u see is really there?! or maybe none of it is there? (im not talkin about drugs) idk if u understand, but my eyes might b playin tricks on me (i dont see anything wierd and im not skitzo and i dont hallucinate)
haha ALSO dont u think that if u were raised and if u beleived everything was completely different things would b completely different too like...humans cant fly, people cant do this or that i think that if u 10000% believe u CAN do something its possible for u to do it, even if its simple things like a FIRST attempt on a back flip, if u have no fear and u kno u can do it i think its possible to get it on the first try
I don't know if that's completely true..I mean, i'd like to see soemone completely believe that they can fly and do it on the first try..and i'm meaning flying like a bird, not in a plane lol..But then all of the other weird things we do (lots of stuff in gymnastics haha) who was the person taht thought they could do all of those things, then to actually try them?!..crazy!
i mean not real crazy things like flying but like different things, different beleives, make someone beleive all things we beleive arent true and teach him completely different things...i wonder how that would work out..
Hmm..That'd be extremely interesting to do actually. But would the person go intot he real world and have a mind of their own..and see things and think for himself?..Could you really brainwash someone that much?
Hmm... No I guess it wouldn't be... But think about cults, kids are brought into that when they are sooo little and so all they know is what they have heard. The leaders are brainwashing people... Now I have a question after saying that. To "brainwash" someone does the person have to come in as a person who has lived and has their own thoughs and seen how the world works (basically do they have to be like around preteen age atleast) to be able to be brainwashed. like is "brainwashing" someone just that..washing their brains of what they believe and filling it with something else...but then what is it called for the babies brought into it. and if they were to get out of the cult would the whole world be brainwashing them then?
