Sorry about that MarryAnne. Thats pretty rough. My advice is to get a trial by jury, and plead innocent on the grounds of the subjective nature of the age of the guy. Bring in any coworkers who saw you carding people if you can. Do not plead guilty unless they will remove it from your record.

I dont know what I pleaded. ahaha.. that sounds bad. but my lawyer went in to plead for me.
I did sell him the alcohol, which is wrong. But it wasn't on purpose, which is why I'm fighting it.
We'll see. I'll call my lawyer in the morning and tell you all any updates.

That's a good thing. If you're lawyer did enter a plea of guilt and you still have to show up for trial, you can revoke the plea of guilt if you weren't present.

Clearly your lawyer is the best person to ask. I'm sure you'll be able to get out of it and keep your career goals. Take care.

 

Actually, he almost certainly put in a plea of not guilty anyway if he told you you might not have to come to court.
