The current hostilities between Israel and Hizbollah in Lebanon are only the precusor in a carefully planned strategy that will soon lead to attacks on Syria and Iran.

In fact this disproportionate attack on Hizbollah and Lebanon is meant to create a scenario where attacking Syria and Iran would be justified.

President Bush has in no way condemned any of the Israeli aggression. In fact he is encouraging it, hoping for a response from both Syria and Iran. A response that would give Bush & Israel a pretext for attacking those countries.

The Bush admin at every opportunity during this crisis has mentioned Syria and Iran as helping supply and support Hizbollah, including providing those longer range missiles that now threaten Haifa, Tel Aviv, indeed most of Israel.

Bush is preparing the public for what will soon go down. Full scale attacks on Iran and Syria. Israel will probably take out Syria, but it'll be up to the US to attack Iran.

This plan has been LONG in the making. We now have Iran surrounded on four sides, with US bases in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan (this one is still secret), Turkey, and in the Persian Gulf. Is it any wonder the Iranians have been acting paranoid, wanting to quickly develop a nuclear deterrent?

The US will try to neutralize Iran's missile capability right from the start. They will of course also neutralize their nuclear facilities at the same time.

The current offensive against Lebanon could not have taken place had the US and Israel not already seen to the removal the Syrian army from Lebanon.

Iran and Syria have signed a mutual defense pack, that means that Iran will act to defend Syria once the Israelis attack. Israel is in a big hurry to neutralize Hizbollah because they are tying up too much of their military.

I think Ariel Sharon before his "illness" had turned his back on the hardliners because they were in cahoots with Bush, wanting to ramp up the attacks on Hizbollah and Hamas. They want this war as much as Bush & Cheney want it.

Sharon instead realized that peace would be preferrable, but it can now be seen that he became an obstacle to Bush's plans, and likely was "removed".

So the war hawks are now ruling Israel and the USA, and are willing to bring about a regional if not a world war, if not a nuclear holocaust just to neutralize Iran.

If you review what has happened since Bush came to power, you will realize that even the Israelis are just pawns in Cheney's plan to reorder the middle east and take control of the oil fields of Iraq and Iran.

So watch what happens next and keep in mind the end goals set by the Bush Administration, and everything will make much more sense!

I thought it was planned by Iran to start up a war with Israel.

I really can't understand why the US is on the side of Israel... everything is so bad over there already, and Israel just goes and makes it worse. Why is it attacking Lebanon now? I don't understand what's going on very well, but from Bush's reaction to the whole thing, it's apparent that the US is involved in this whole pointless fight. Thanks for the info, because I am very confused about the whole issue, and it's good to have a source that isn't blatantly pro-Israel. And let's all hope (against all common sense, I know) that the war magically stops and Syria and Iran don't become directly involved.

The israelies are crazy like that. If you take one of their soldiers they take five of yours. Its an eye for an eye with them. Its in their nature to be that way. They have to get revenge.

    It has crossed my mind.

This could well be a pre-conceived plan to help justify a war with Iran and Syria.

    I'm getting extremely worried.

This could well mark the beggining of the big one; Full scale invasion and occupation of the Middle-East by the US and allies who also want a piece of the oil revenue (UK, Israel etc).

And if that'll lead to an even wider conflict, who knows?

As always many suffer for the mistakes of a few.

Are you also aware of the recent UN resolution against North Korea's missile testing? I don't think people can pass that off either.

North Korea are named on the 'axis of evil' by Dubya.

It seems the conditions are fully ripening for a major war.

Newt Gingrich is now saying the US is in WW III and everyone should accept that reality, and Bush should explain that to everyone. That statement infers to me that there are plans to carry the wars we're already engaged in, onto an even larger stage, the world.

So Bushit IS going to do whatever it takes to keep people's minds off his own incompetence, his failure to win in Iraq or Afghanistan, his failure to make America anymore secure, by going ahead and starting A BIGGER WAR with Syria & Iran.

That will certainly take ppls minds off Iraq.

Hope all you young'uns are ready to head to Canada (if they'll take you), cause by saying we're in WWIII, it will justify bring back the draft!

Too bad most Americans are TOO FAT to qualify. Although I hear boot camp has a way of helping you "diet"....

Well If Bush is planning to move into Syria & Iran he had better be quick if he wants his old lap-dog/ass-licker Blair to join him in the sabre-rattling rhetoric.
Blair could be out before the end of this year or early next year:- resigning to let Gordon Brown take over the reigns at no.10.

Well that is just ONE reason for things happening now. The US midterm elections are just three months away. The rebullicans need to divert attention from their misdeeds, incompetence, illegal activities, corruption, etc. in order to get re-elected.

Another thing is that the shit is hitting the fan big time in Iraq & Afghanistan, so bad (they're not telling us all), that rather than admit the coming defeat there, they'd rather start a new unwinnable war just to again divert attention from the ongoing US military and political failures.

I wouldn't bet my last dollar on the Republicans returning to the Whitehouse in 2008.

The most frightening prospect for the American right in decades may come true in 2008; two women presidential candidates:

Condoleezza Rice vs. Hillary Clinton .

As the lesser of two evils;I'd vote Clinton if I was a U.S. citizen.
So as you say Skip:.............Ol' Dubya had better move like a rocket up his ass if he wants to open up two more stalemate/unwinnable conficts.....three if you include North Korea. :D

Perhaps the most important reason for the timing of this attack is the fact that if US & Israel need to do something about Iran, NOW is the time. Pretty soon they won't be able to do it without disasterous consequences.

Once Iran can load nuclear warheads on their missiles, the game is over.

In fact Hizbollah just fired a SILKWORM CRUISE MISSILE at the high tech Israeli destroyer and completely disabled it in one hit (killing 4 Israelis). Those were originally designed by the Chinese and they can handle nuclear warheads (the US used similar missiles during the Iraq & Iran wars). This means that they can meat out as much damage as the US & Israel.

And the fact that TERROR organizations possess such an arsenal, that is accurate and can evade US/Israeli detection,

Shit in the middle of writing that, I just heard Netanyahu say "The US could just wipe Syria and Iran off the face of the earth..."

    Wow hows that for syncronicity?

I was gonna say that means that they can deliver a weapon of mass destruction to a specific target with a high confidence of success. I wonder how many of those Hizbollah owns?

In any case, I think the Crusaders plan is well underway. It's a war between fundamentalist Christianity vs. Fundamentalist Islam. It's really sad the Israelis, Lebanese and Palestians have to play the pawns in this never ending religious war.

Actually skip you make an interesting point.

America couldn't possibly win another full scale world war. There are just too many fat people.

Seems like justice; Destroyed by their own greed.

Perhaps the US military will just lower their standards further. They've been doing that a lot lately! After all you don't need to look like arnold schwarzenegger to push the buttons controling a remote weapon. They can be nice & cushy in some backfield bunker and murder people miles away.

I wonder if they keep score and win prizes. Oh, yeah that's right, it's the army. They ALWAYS keep score and award prizes for those who kill the most (medals, promotions, etc.)

So it can be a game just like they've been playing on their playstations at home. Only the monsters wear turbans now, and we will all soon be DOOMed to die.

It's been prophesized, no? Let's see who's God is more powerful. The dumb one, or the dumber one...

Don't overlook the bombings in India those happened in order to mobilize India and warn Pakistan to butt out. I don't for a minute think those bombings were caused by Muslim extremists in Kashmir or Pakistan.

There will be no cease fire, the Project for a New American Century and the Israelis don't want that. They want total control of the area.

And don't feed me crap about Sharon being for Peace, that was the last thing on his mind, he pushed for the entry of the US into Iraq. Rabin was for Peace, Sharon was a hate monger.

I didn't mean Sharon was some big peace advocate. But at the end of his power I think he foresaw this situation occuring, and wanted to avoid it at all costs, even if it meant giving up the gaza territory and parts of the west bank. He saw the need to take unilateral action when it became impossible to negotiate with the PLO & Hamas leadership.

I give him credit for that, but it was too little too late to avoid the current bloodshed, and what will likely happen in the future.

OOOOOOHHHHH! Bush said "SHIT" (to Blair). Now there's BUSHIT if I ever heard it!
