Dread wrap or tam instructions/Pattern?

Wondering if anybody has one with details on how to do it. I dont knit, or anything like that. Nobody around where I live sells them, and I dont have a credit card to buy one online. So I'd like to atleast try and make one myself. :H

Im on the most easternly province in canada, and in a small(ish) town. only about 30k people.

and there is no store around where I live, or the towns around mine by that name

 

hmmm do you have a A.C. Moore? If you do buy a cross stiching kit and cross sitich a TAm from a beanie Imma make one during a 6 1/2 hour ride to Virginia

 

I dont think we do have one of those stores around here. But we do have an arts and crafts store. I'll ask one of the girls that works there if they have any idea =P Hopefuly one of them does.
