I dont know maybe im wierd but I really like movies based on islands, like the beach. Theres something magical about islands to me. Another good one i saw was swept away (the 1974 italian version) havent seen the madonna version nor do I plan to. The old man and the sea wasnt based on an Island but hes from an Island. I dont know anyone know of soom other movies that have Islands in them?

it's not bad. i think i would've liked it more if my english teacher hadn't analyzed it inside out.

Yeah I have the same feeling towards Ziffereli's romeo and juliet, it really ruined the movie for me back in High school, now on my own time ive re discovered it and its a lot more enjoyable not thinking about all the bullshit meaning behind everything that is said and done. Ughhh I just want to enjoy the movie.

The 1984 remake of "The Bounty" with Anthony Hopkins. It really shows off the jaw-dropping scenery of Moorea, Tahiti.
