a gay socialist running america would be better then anything i've yet seen in my lifetime.

a world in which no one robbed anyone else of their calmness is the only kind of heavin there is, in this life or any other, tangable or nontangable alike.

and whatever that ment having to live without as a resault, i would be more then happy to do so.

and if no one woke me up in my sleep to rescue me from a burning building, that would be ok with me too.

although what i'd be doing sleeping in a burning building is beyond me. well sleeping of course. but someone else would have had to have torched it for that to happen.
as i don't smoke, or leave things cooking on the stove. and the're aren't any little gremlins running arround in my house either, other then my wife, and it is after all her house inasmuch as she pays the rent.

and i'm all for not supporting anything, especialy anything that romantacizes and rewards aggressiveness. that is the one thing i DO advocate; not supporting aggressiveness.

what was the question? oh yah, whirreld peas. well split pea soup is ok with lots of wiener slices floating arround in it.

but yah, the kind of world we all have to live in is a hell of a lot more important then sainthood or immediate personal 'gain' either one. because hell or high water, we STILL have to live in it. or in some other. where the same thing still applies.

u missed my point bro. I was saying, is it better to be concerned with changing the world, or is it better to be pre-occupied with what yer (not u anyone) family will eat, as they watch a football game, and cheer for the war, in a house with 2 cars, 2 cats, 1 garage, in a Pleasant Little Suburb...

U all missed the point of this thread. Its like comfortable conformity, vs. Chaotic revolution. I don't express my self well writing (well, typing that is).

well unlike a lot of people arround me where i live, i don't see conformity as all that comfortable at all, though i do see revolution as a bit over rated, and as for chaos, well that's just the default condition of energy and matter out of which all structure is ultimately fabricated.

the opposition of supposed opposites is largely a construct of human language and perception. far more so then anything that can be observed in nature.

also my family never lived in a house in a suburb, never owned two cars, most of the time we lived in very small towns along the railroad my dad worked for out in the woods up in the mountains and we did tend to adopt whatever stray cats came along, and it wasn't untill i graduated highschool in 66 that my dad even owned a car at all. my mom never did learn to drive nor oppenly want to. i've owned a few (cars) off and on. generaly found them all to be more of a pain then the're worth and don't currently own any.

oh, and i still think a gay socialist would make a hell of a lot better president then any we've had in my lifetime. (but i wouldn't support anyone pointing a gun at anyone to make him one)
