I wanted to know what are some symptoms of over-fertilizing because I added some yesterday, 16-16-16 and this morning they started to go limp and the edges of some leaves are turning a brownish color What am I doing wrong? Whoa looks like a classic case over over-fert. Flush immediently. Use at least a gal. or water poured slowly into the soil. I'll bet the soil you used was pre-ferted or you mixed the nute's too strong.

i just put some 16-16-16 on mine a few hours ago, but only a bit (around a tablespoon), i just sprinkled it on the soil and watered it... i'm hoping not to have these results... but my plants are about 2 months old, 3 ft tall and outdoor... that plant is toasted.... too bad.
Watch out for overfertilising especially with pre fertilised soil its probably the most common problem new growers encounter. I'd say most commercial brands i.e. from walmart etc shouldn't need extra fert untill flowering.
