Been out of touch from this website but I may post more often now. Would like to also receive messages for the friendship of hip folks that mean so much to me. The hippies I used to know are missing in hip action and it seems I'm the last of the ones that used to enjoy the streets of NY back in 69. I still play and ten times more than before. Music made the sixties, and the songs still live on (not just on ther radio) and everyone that hears them loves them.
Hey Hari Just thought I’d drop by and say hello coz you welcomed me in my thread ! Its nice to see someone else who is so passionate about music, and its so true what you say about how everyone who hears those songs loves them. I was just talking about that with my best friend last night we were trying to figure out what the secret ingredient was that is missing these days. It seems like no one really writes those addictive songs that give you goose bumps anymore. Well I’m sure there is someone somewhere who does but its so hard to find them. Edit>> just fixing spelling
I was disccussing that with a friend who was my model for years in the village, we couldn't listen to the modern stuff although I would say U2 and few others did write some stuff worth lsitening to, but not as abundant as the 60's and seventies.
Hey Hari! you should message me sometime about what it was like living back then. i'm pretty sure i was born in the wrong era =)
