Texas vs. Florida

Civil rights are not where they should be, but there are still millions of people around the world who are trapped in the bonds of slavery, so the word slavery shouldn't be used lightly.

 

I've damn near lived in west south to north. You're fucked in the ass like a pill dropped prom queen no matter where you are by your loving government.

but if you're happy with the location or why you're there what does it matter?

 

Many of my family members were slaves and not that of the south but rather of the north, ever heard of trail of tears? I believe any of "us" have more than a right to use the word.

As for civil rights, they're not in place anywhere that I've seen. Rodney king didnt happen in alabama, it happend in LA Cali.

You do not get any civil rights in this country I don't care if you're white black brown pink purple or red, I will say the lighter skin color does get treated better or respected however you'd like to call it in alot of areas. That's something we have to deal with. That or get our ass beat down and a free ride to the country if we're not just gunned down in cold blood.

 

You're not going to find utopia anywhere in the 21st century.

I was explaining why the southern states seem particularly hesistant toward social programs which will help uplift impoverished communities.

It's almost a cruel turn of fate that south of our Border is where most of the immigration comes from, and this is whre programs to lift communities up are most needed.

That wasn't as much slavery which suffered the native americans, but rather genocide, which is an even worse crime aginst humanity, and is the scourge of the earth we should most devote our resources to elminiatination.

Genocide destroys what makes us all human.

And certainly racism happens everywhere, and as I pointed out, the civil war wasn't sold to northern busniessmen as a human rights issue.

I'm trying to give my interpratiation of why income disparity afflicts the south more predominetly.

Civil rights are horrid around the world. The world is a cold and horrific place and theres no utopia. All we can hope for is to try to come up with the means to help as many people as we cna.

Whites do get more rights in this country, but it certainly wasn't a case of a lot of whites keeping down a lot of blacks.

In reality, there were huge impoverished communities of whites who suffered too.

And still suffer. We have to attack the roots of income disperity, not the color. Although if a color is treated more unequaly, that needs to be adressed too.

 

Had columbus not brought the shit here none of this would be an issue.

 

Columbus not comming to the west would not have been the end to genocide, nor would it delay the specific .

And it was inevitable when two primative cultures meet. The Native genocide wasn't Europeans directly commiting war as much as a complex web of Native on native European influenced civil war and European endemics and war.

There was no way one of the societies would have perished in the 17th century. And since the European society was more unified and technologically advanced, it won,

That certainly doesn't make it right. But cultures have only have the option of destroying each other.

That is untill we find another option, which is cooperation and integration.

Integrationg with other socities can and has happened, notice the latin american population...

But for it to happen well, we need to have concrete commiments to change and integration, not just ignore the issue and hope for the best.

 

That's exactly the kind of attitude and formalities that ensures we will never prosper.

Creating an understanding of humanity rather than blowing it to shit or giving it a list of steps or rules or guidelines they should live or think/believe/live by or be invaded is not going to work.

Wealth and greed play to very major parts in this too.

The problem is not with humanity or life it's with that which governs it or tries to control it. Yes people should have some sort of control but nothing like what stands today or has ever stood.

Oh well it's just less forrestests for our wild life and natural anomalys of nature that will be destroyed, more families torn apart by war, more kids growing u without parents, more innocents seeing their loved ones executed in the streets for politics, more raping the land to expand a larger city to polute and ruin our planet, etc until it ends us all.

 

This is just meandering into vauge crap now.

texas and florida are two states that if they were to vapourize each other, i kinda doubt that i'd notice. not that i'd be happy about the people living in either of them if they did. i just can't think of any reason i'd ever want to even visit, let alone live, in either one of them.
