So I went to the store today to get some Robitussin, but the only 8 oz bottles had Guaifenesin. I have researched alot on many websites, and all say it is not dangerous even in very high doses, but can cause "severe nausea" which does not sound fun. I have taken some dramamine to help curb any nausea i get anyways, but does anyone have a reccommended dosage i should not exceed? thanks for the help.
Ok well i chugged the whole bottle. It kind of sucked, I didnt get nauseous but i only had like a 1st or 2nd plateau trip. I guess i will have to up the ante a little bit next time.
ive done it twice with my dxm. 1st time i didnt even get nauseous. the 2nd time puked 5 times. i wouldnt mess with it, unless its the only thing u can get and even then keep it low to about 200-300 mg so u dont puke.
200-300 of dxm that is. im not sure how much guaifenesin that is, and im sure it varies for each type of cough medicine. i guess just keep the dosing low and have fun.
nah guafenesin will make you throw up and become overly phlegmy. It may be toxic, i have no idea. You'll have a pleasant trip if you take a load of dxm and no other chemical along with lecithin(a fat soluble thing, helps clear head fog) and if you have an itchy reaction, a mild antihistamine.
