SISTER GO TO THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOW IF YOU HADN'T ALREADY! This EXACT thing happened to me constantly when I had cervical cancer.

*EDIT*, ok I noticed you went to the doctor. He will call you in right away if it's cervical cancer.

she told me if they detect "abnormal cells" on my cervix that they would bring me back in a few months and test me again and if the abnormality showed up twice then they would... i don't even know.
was she just trying to keep me calm?

...and it wasn't an actual gyno, it was a free sexual health clinic

No need to worry at this point...whether it is a clinic or regular doctor's office, what she told you is standard procedure. If a pap is abnormal, test again in a few (anywhere between 3 and 6 months). If that one is abnormal too then they usually do a more thorough procedure where they scrap a little deeper in specific areas under a magnification device to see if that solves the problem.

If she says the pap is abnormal, make sure you keep your next appointment. You know what to expect now. and if she says it is normal, it is still important to determine the cause of your bleeding significantly after sex.

So i called and nothing is wrong with my cervix *sigh of releif*
except now... i still don't know what was wrong with me. i went through a particularly horrible menstrual cycle and the bleeding hasn't happend since. I'm also happier and a lot more... like i was before it started happening. More energy and no depression and... everything is back to normal.
Maybe it was just a really bad hormonal imbalance? the nurse said that was probably it but that if it happend again to go see the doctor at the clinic and have some bloodwork done.
