No worries, I'm not telling you all to protest tissues and toilet paper; just certain brands. Kimberly Clark is in charge of what kinds of trees are used to make the following products: KLEENEX tissues, SCOTT toilet paper, and COTTONELLE toiliet paper. The problem is that the fibers that make up the products are coming from endangered forests and ancient trees (trees that take many, many years to grow). As an alternitive the company could use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified forests (which have the same, if not better quailty trees) instead of endangered trees. Thanks for listening And if you can ---- boycott the products mentioned
Why we use trees to make any paper products is beyond me. Marijuanna is a much more efficient paper crop and no forests are distroyed.
what are they gonna use as a reaosn to make it illegal? the real reason would be because it threatens just about every industry out there. paper, alcohal, gas, textile, etc. but what are they gonna tell the public? that you can get high off smoking you buddies shoes?
haha, i doubt they even need a reason. although, that would make it a lot easier for us to protest...
I don't know if you have that in the U.S., but in Quebec, we can buy toilet paper, paper towels, etc..., made from recycled paper. It costs a little bit more, but it's worth it.
i think they have it in the US, but i havent seen it where i live. or maybe i just havent been looking hard enough
It not that they have bred many many strains that do not produce THC. By Rantoul, IL they have wild pot everywhere that spread from a rope factory there in WWII. It doesn't get you high at all. I read one time that Hemp oil was also amoung the top three oils in terms of low saturated fats, ect. I am going to have to try and look that up. Anyways, a food crop, oil crop, paper, textiles, rope could be made cheap and effectively and grown in one season and we just waste it because of the scare of someone getting high which is a myth itself.
