I read the first two trilogies. I really enjoyed them very much. They didn't have the literature finesse of Tolkien, but they deserve credit on their own merit as an epic. The characters were superb.

Sorry, I forgot, I was also an AD&D fan a long time ago, which is the reason I bought them in the first place.

I probably read about 20+ of them and a bunch of Forgotten Realms books too. My favorite were the first two trilogies. Probably my all time favorite fantasy book series. I liked The Legend of Huma also.

I've read Chronicles and Legends and am working on the War of Souls right now. I LOVE Dragonlance books, they are absolutely fantastic! If you haven't read them, you definitely should.

I've read Chronicles and Legends, and I must say that I enjoyed them. Good for a light, but very interesting, read.

have read quite a few.. yeah sometimes the writing isn't the best but there are some absolute gems in amongst the pages. Riverwind's and Goldmoon's marriage vows floor me for some odd reason. but even moreso, the few scenes between Alhana Starbreeze and Sturm are heartachingly crafted.

I love the Dragonlance books. I would say thet they are the books that got me hooked on reading. (But Tolkien was who started to push first.)

I do particularly enjoy the books that include Tasslehoff Burrfoot and/or Raistlin Majere. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy reading about the other characters too. They are all unique in there own special way.

Now go forth and read away and remember don't judge a book by it's cover.(even though the cover art of the reprints are looking better and better)

    enjoy.....

Perhaps it's not the best writing in the world, but Dragonlance is definitly hands down by favorite fantasy series ever. Tolkien was a good writer, but there's just something about the characters in Drangonlance and their conflicts that Tolkien can't do for me.
