Kangaroos are much meaner then I had thought when I was a kid too.

I wanted to get one and ride around in it's pouch. Apparently it's a gooey placental sack, and kangaroos will kick and bite the hell out of you if you get close.

Growing up can be painfully disillusioning sometimes.

 

they come up to about my hip. if i remember right.

i *believe* there are larger ones in parts of the western areas of australia.. but i could be wrong.. i didnt venture off the east coast.

2-3 feet tall and dark brown is almost definately a wallabee (sp?)

 

Wow, that's crazy!

I'm only 6 feet tall at the moment, who knows if I'll grow to be as tall as one of these crazy animals.
