only heard a couple of songs - i wouldn't class these as grunge (as the media calls them) but the music is pretty decent. couldn't name any particular songs i've hear dbut i aint heard many.
at the time when these were famous, i was jamming to nirvana, soundgarden and pearl jam!

were did you see them, i've seen them at waldrock about a week ago as well. one of my favorite bands as well. but i think they played too fast, some songs were faster than on cd, like 'down in a hole' was played way to fast. on of the things i like about is the fact that they play kinda slow, you know

    Alice In Chains = Goodness.

I've so far only owned Dirt, however. Jerry Cantrell's solo album, Boggy Depot, is cool, too.

Yeah, I saw them there as well. That's one of the things I like about them too, but it didn't really bother me that they played some songs too fast.

if they aren't fucking grunge, then the entire definition of grunge is wrong.

One of the best bands in the world! Anyone heard their demos, stuff like 'Heroin' and the early versions of songs from 'Facelift'? I found a load, I love to hear bands like AIC at such a raw level.

Yeah I love Alice in chains, I just saw them a few weeks ago in Dublin with the new singer. They were good, but defiantly not the same without Layne Staley.

I will always love the old A.I.C, but I don't have time for the new band. I mean, replacing Layne Staley?????? WTF were they thinking?
