That's funny, because I do know what I've consented to. Those who do not need the armed forces are always the ones who condone it regardless of what they're doing. What is mildly amusing, though, is that someone your age still believes all the bullshit conpiracy theories that I grew out of in this past year and a half. The world is not a conspiracy theory.
No indeed your right, the world is not a conspiracy "theory". Global politics, however, and the events you have in your youthful naivete gullibly accepted as random, compartmentalised occurrences, are very much according to calculated collaborative agendas oh young padawan. You will - should you survive and return somewhat more aware of how little you comprehend of our nation's (and its international cohorts') actual agenda outside your cozy suburban fantasy land - come to appreciate how presumptuous your words in these threads and your foolish subscription to the service of those who care nothing for your welfare, rights or freedom have been and indeed are. At 18 you haven't a clue of half of what you speak, more so for your utter lack of worldly experience. You will learn the hard way though and your disillusionment will be profound and life changing. Mark my words well. Enjoy your smug and arrogant teenage bravado while you still have a chance.
And you know of all this how....? If the world was indeed moving toward a one-world totalitarian government, and the U.S. was as bad as people like you like to believe, why could you not only post such an opinion on the internet without being hunted down by some kind of secret police force, but also find out about such things over the internet? or in books sold in chain book stores? why hasnt the U.N. taken away your arms and locked you up yet?
We're allowed by the government a certain amount of freedom to openly crirticize it simply to allow us to blow off steam. If we could really effect change by speaking and writing the government would be kicking down our doors in droves. I have already had my First Amendment rights blatantly ignored and threatened with imprisonment for years by this fucked up government for simply opening my mouth and speaking. The government is selective about how it does this, though. If you're really likely to effect some change by speaking out in a way that's adverse to what their agenda is, you better look out.
