Hi, I was wondering, Couldn't we form a hippie movement like the one back in the day? I know it would be work, but couldn't we?... but hey, imagining is what builds the world, not just knowledge
It would have to be completely different from the original movement, if it was similar - it'd get about as much attention as the hippie movement does now. It'll have to be radical - but it could be done.
I`m ready to bring my guitar and a helping hand to any peace movement. The problem is where to start?
yeah man. i don't know where to start....but i'm thinking. i'm really into the idea of a revolution, and i think it could be done. (but not if no one gets into it...)
It wasn't a "movement" back in the day, really. These days you have ferals, grunge, etc as the equivalent...
No, and i wouldnt want another hippie movement. If were gonna have a revolution or movement, we should think with our own minds and do it our own way instead of trying to repeat what our parents (and for the younger people grandparents) did 40 years ago. And we certainly know having everybody tripping on acid and dropping out of society isnt gonna do shit to change the world. Better to do it from the inside out if anything. Young people today have more education then any other generation. get the corperate job, and change it for the better (while having as much fun on your free time as possible).
that sounds like a good idea. why repeat what we've already done, when it didn't even work the first time? i'm glad you're on our side.
I don't think we should immitate the past. That would be a mistake. I'm going to get screamed at for this, but I also don't think we should immitate anything done by the baby-boomers. Let's face it, as a generation (this is not a personal attack on all boomers), they fucked up the planet.
the change needs to come from society as a whole..people from all walks of life need to join together and focus on their similarities instead of differences. we need to come together, then overthrow the government.
that sounds like a good plan. but i mean, how could we get that to work? we need some major changes...
