New laptop advice

    So I'll probably be looking into getting a laptop for school (coughWorldofWarcraftcough), and figured I'd ask for a few pointers as far as what specifications to look for, good brands, etc. Looking to spend roughly $800.

    biggest issue you have is the game, make sure you get a link to the requirements and check around to be sure it will play it. I got 2 new laptops from best buy for $449 each Toshiba on sale but not gamming machines. You might do good looking at a used Alienware or good Sony Vaio.

    you should find a good deal for $800. IBM thinkpads are the best compatibles IMO. if you could, i would suggest a mac. i dont know if warcraft plays on OSX though. i got a mac and the battery last me a good part of six hours.

    u can customize what u want at www.hp.com ..its pretty cool

    If you can spend a little more, I strongly recommend something from Apple.
