I think about joining some of these forums sometimes, just for amusement. I doubt there's any real way helping someone who's so far gone, tangled in their own web of illusion, but, it might be worth a chuckle, and who knows, maybe I'd learn something too.
Most of these people are way too lost inside their own bubbles to have any sort of objective thought on the matter. The amount of misconceptions among people about other people are amazing and (fortunately for us) amusing as well.
I have to say this Portalguy; I am baffled by the fact that so many sincere christians even consider the fundies (ie, anyone taking this message of love and unity and preaching hatred and seperation) members of the same club just because they chose to call themselves christian. To me that's like someone saying, "Yeah I voted for Bush, I drive a hummer, and I own stock in Lockhead and Haliburtan but I'm still an anti-war activist because I have this bumper sticker..." and having all the other anti-war activists going "Yeah he's a little confused, but he's still one of us".
