Yeah I almost cried with happiness when I saw that video, almost makes me want to move to that country.

The music video by sigur ros was rather touching too, and so sad.

Those are probably my three favorites out of the entire batch.

 

Oh yes, definitely very sad. I imagine you could unfortunately relate to that one to some extent. I wonder if there is more to it or if there is a sequel? It would be nice to see how they coped with the parental shame and rejection, perhaps offering inspiration to others in similar situations. But either way it stands on it's own as a testament to the pain gay youth suffer at the hands of ignorance and bigotry.

 

Nope it ends there, I found out that the lead vocalist in the people who do the song is gay though. Only in places like Iceland can you make mainstream music videos like that though that pertain to love like that , sadly.



I was insipired to make this my myspace profile image though because it is beautiful and I like to think of myself as a romantic person of sorts
