A good book about the effects of rape (as well as other things) is Breathe, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat. It's a very sad novel.
You're right, Samhain. So I take back my original replies to this thread because while I think the OP could have worded his post WAY better, I could have been much more tactful in my response. I'm sorry everyone who was offended by me...heh...I'm editing those posts. Forgive me? Anyway, babies are babies, regardless of how they are concieved. But I can't begin to imagine how difficult it would be for a victim of rape to be impregnated. But I still don't think that makes the child any less human.
What do you mean I seem too smart? I'm not that smart and I often make the mistake of posting things that are too vague. Anyway thanks for editing your posts Kinky Ramona, actually its kind of my own fault. You right I could have worded it way better.
You often post things that are too vague? With 37 posts? Look, either way it doesn't matter because you are no longer defending the question, but in my opnion you were trying to get a rise out of people, that's all. And I've been wrong thousands of times before so this just might be another item on that list.
