Ha ha. I've had that happen to me on occasion. You know what's a word I despise? Juxtaposition. It's a great word to use in Scrabble and in a "deep" conversation, but it grates on me. And what's even worse, is it's a word that I get stuck in my head too.
It's the noun form of "juxtapose". You place two concepts together to create a contrasting effect. Sort of an overlapping of ideas to make a point. It's a nice word, but it has so many hard sounds that it makes me cringe.
you know, i think i just realized i actually never knew what "juxtapose" meant obviously, now i know but still.... lol, i'm high :&
