is now sugary alcoholic beverages... jello shooters last night were good, up until this morning... way too many coolers and wiskey and pepsi wasn't too fun this morning... the worst hangover of my life... and on another note, how was your day?
hangovers suck - though i rarely get them my day was great...got to relax, go see a movie in town, chilled in town for a bit, and got home before the storm nice day off hope the hangover doesn't last to long
hi bird yeah i'm not gonna be drinking so much sugary drinks..but i am gonna be drinking tonight...i invited everyone from last night to come over tonight i'm gonna be trashed come monday theres a going away party tomorrow too sometimes i think i should give my liver a break...but then someone hands me a drink and all that goes out the window i almost never get hangovers, so this time was definitely not fun...
Feeling any better now? I almost never get hangovers, and when I do I know how to kill 'em dead. Gatorade, burnt toast, excedrin.
Sorry to hear about your head there, hope your systems lets ya feel better. Sad or good but I never did get a hang over in my life, I have drank plenty in my day but like my father and his father for some reason no hangovers, lol
If you're gonna drink do it right. *c* No sugar or carbonated water. You're on your own if insisting on beer. In other words straight booze (up or neat) w/a coffee back...
Lodui, i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but the advice about Excedrin is freakin BAD. 1. Acetaminophan (Tylenol) is in that. Even though a person isn't drinking the morning they wake up hungover, the alcohol is still in the bloodstream. Combining Acetominophan and alcohol will cause SUDDEN LIVER FALIURE, which results in death. 2. Excedrin has ASPRIN in it. As I'm sure you know, ASPRIN and ALCOHOL are both anticuagulents (blood thinners). Even though Indian Summer is prolly not a parapalegic, combining blood thinners can and does result in internal hemeraging (mostly in the stomach), which can sause MAJOR circulatory problems. 3. Excedrin contains CAFFEINE. Hangovers result from dehydration, and just like alcohol, caffeine also dehydrates people. Lodui- I'm sorry if I sounded rude, but that was very dangerous and unwise advice. Plus everyone on RT thinks I'm some kind of idiot, but I happen to know a LOT about certain things. AS far as the gatorade, that's great advice, because the electrolytes in the gatorade rehydrate the system. And with the burned toast, I don't even know. And not that anyone here cares less about what I say, but still, NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, I WOULD NOT COMBINE ALCOHOL WITH TYLENOL OR ASPIRIN. Those combinations can be EXTREMEMLY DEADLY!!!
That's how I feel about vodka mixed with Hawaiian Punch now. Used to love the stuff, but lemme tell you, it tastes WAY better going down than coming up. Haha. And best way to avoid a hangover is to eat before you go to bed. Always works with me, I've only had a hangover once.
eating aint gonna help to much. Hangovers come from dehydration. The best and ONLY way to avoid one is to drink PLENTY OF WATER.
Eating does help absorb some of the alcohol so your body digests it properly, though. Think what you want, but it's always worked for me and my boyfriend. But I also am a hydration freak and balance my alcohol with water intake...so yup.
i didn't drink enough water, but i find whenever i'm drunk drinking water just makes me puke..i fine now though, not sober
