Several weeks ago a I mentioned to a buddy that I wanted to see the Dead who were playing in Camden NJ. He told me that he and his brothers were going and had an extra ticket and I could go if I wanted. I said "sure". A week later he told me that his brother sold the extra ticket, so I didn't go.

The show was last Saturday. Today I got the report. The seats were in the orchestra pit, third row, in the center. Robert Hunter opened and the Dead played for nearly 4 hours. They were impressed by Warren Haynes.

Of course I'm disappointed by not being there.

I saw them on the 7th, we missed hunter because we were looking around the parking lot for goodies :)

We got inside and saw the dead come on and start playing and it was AMAZING. They played Uncle John's Band, Casey Jones, Morning Dew, and China Cat Sunflower, and I saw all this on Mushrooms.

Too bad you couldn't go, but it won't be your last chance, good luck next time they come around.

    Peace and Love,
    Dan
