Several weeks ago a I mentioned to a buddy that I wanted to see the Dead who were playing in Camden NJ. He told me that he and his brothers were going and had an extra ticket and I could go if I wanted. I said "sure". A week later he told me that his brother sold the extra ticket, so I didn't go. The show was last Saturday. Today I got the report. The seats were in the orchestra pit, third row, in the center. Robert Hunter opened and the Dead played for nearly 4 hours. They were impressed by Warren Haynes. Of course I'm disappointed by not being there.
I saw them on the 7th, we missed hunter because we were looking around the parking lot for goodies We got inside and saw the dead come on and start playing and it was AMAZING. They played Uncle John's Band, Casey Jones, Morning Dew, and China Cat Sunflower, and I saw all this on Mushrooms. Too bad you couldn't go, but it won't be your last chance, good luck next time they come around. Peace and Love, Dan
