Folks, I am curious to see how much we get per plant after the crop has been cured. If you did not calculate the avarage just tell us the number of plants and how much you got off of them after curing. Please specify the strain with the post. I am bringing up the first crop of Albino Rhino strain from Britich Columbia seed bank and will post my results after I cure. -marclar
Normally plants weigh about 25 percent of there wet weight after drying. So a plant weighing 8 ounces after curing will weigh 2 ounces.
Thats good information.....i was actually curious about real numbers. What folks produced off their crops realisticaly in indoor environment..i also understand that quality of the environmnet can make big difference for the same strain. I am currently on second week of vegetation for my Albino Rhino. Going pretty steady about 1.5 inches per day. These plants get wider quicker than they get taller. I will start flowering in about 10 days. will post my updates as i go along and will add pics of the crop at different stages to my gallery (first pics to appear this weekend).
Average? That's like asking how far away the average star is from earth. I have seen plants that have yielded 0, other plants that have yielded 5 lbs. In short, there are too many variables to give any kind of an estimate. If you're growing from seed, you should wait until the plants are sexually mature before flowering. This is indicated by alternating nodes and generally occurs when the plant is 4--6 weeks old. Using that as a yardstick, best case scenario, 2.5 oz. bud per plant (for an experienced grower).
Thanks for the info, rangerdanger. On my first crop (which turned out 90% male and got cut down) my males were mature and spilled the pollen on the 18th day of growing in Ebb&Flow hydro setup under 1000W HPS. Anyway check out my freshly added pics in the gallery of the current crop. Currently pictures of Albino Rhino on the 1st day of 24x7 light and 11th day of 24x7.
