So my friend has an uncle who travels the world and always brings back some pot from random places. Last time he gave us alittle of this stuff called keif, not sure if thats how its spelled but its the crystals that get caught in the egde of the vaporizer, harvested and made into tiny powdery greenish stones. Smoked in a pipe it gives you an instant high right after the first hit. After taking 5 hits i could say that i generally felt like i was on a subtle trip. Very strong stuff, anyone else heard of it?
I'm pretty sure we've all heard of it. You can buy herb grinders that have kief-catchers in them. The grinders have a little screen in the bottom and all of the crystals and shit fall through. After you have ground a good amount of green in there, the kief accumulates and you can press it together and smoke it or you can just sprinkle some of it into a blunt with some green.
No its stronger than hash, and it more looks like yellow or green powder. I have never smoked it, but my friend has a kief box and is waiting for it to get more kief in it, then we will try it.
kief isnt in blocks is it? every time i have seen it its a powdery stuff. Hash is like i dunno... 80% thc? maybe? and Kief is more like 95%. compared to marijuana is like 5%
You can press kief just like you can press other forms of hash. Also, some weed can be up to 45% THC, maybe even higher.
yeah 5% is what is on websites that i have looked at, which probably test like downtown brown or mexican brick. not the good shit
kif is the crystals from the bud. Hash is kif(bud crystals) pressed together. non the less both will get you baked out your mind.

I was reading on the overgrow forum and they were talking about the most potent strains they have come across. They gave a bunch of statistics, but the only one I remember was Alaskan Trainwreck being tested for potency and the results showed that it had 40-50% THC. I have no idea if it was accurate, but it seemed to be legitimate. Who knows?
They take "keif" or the trhychomes or " crystals" , whatever you call it and you a combination of heat and compression to make hash....the real hash, not that alcohol crap.
If bud was 50% thc, this would mean a gram contains 500mg of thc...you could get high like 50 times with a gram, or 100 times as even 5mg of thc is active in some people.
yeah its a mystery... Buds that would yield you 50% kif in dry sift would be incredible...and kif isnt 100 % thc at all. so 50% thc, damn.
well, you go to the kitchen steel your momma's sieves, then you go steel some silk screen cloth around 135 - 150 line per inch from the print shop around the corner, on your way back get your girl friend's mirror, or your father's car mirror, anything would do, now you put the mirror on the table reflective side up, you scrubb your weed to toally grinded into the seive, then put that on the silk screen cloth holding it over the mirror, shake and rub the weed gently for a while, now get the dust on the mirror and stuff pack it into some papper, press it real hard, put it under any thing heavy -i mean heavy- for 15 mins or so, rite, now set your iron to the lowest and press hard a couple of times, open the papper and smoke ... this is close to how morocans make hashish, it's called hippy hashish too ... by the way, don't get caught now I don't know how much thc is there, but you still would have a lot of plant contaminants in your kief, and you won't get anything stronger than what you started with, I'll tell you that too, no weed is 80, 70 or even 50% thc, thc mainly resides on the trichomas (you can sea that like pin heads on weed if you use a lense) some of the rest of the cannabinoids are in the trichomas too and in the leaves, wht this does is filter out the whle trichomas tha's plant matter, resin, many cannabinoids including THC, now if you could perfectly remove all of these "other Cannbinoids" which you can't get in the world's finest hash, the high would feel a lot more calm and quite but then you'd grow a lot much faster tolerance, that in a couple of weeks smoking it you wont feel anything, maybe just a litlle buzz, I smoke just the bud, it's the best, needs no refining!
